A George II walnut chest, with quarter veneered top, two short and three graduated long drawers, on bun feet, W.3ft2in. D.1ft8in. H.2ft11in.

A fair few old cracks, splits, cup ring marks to the top. Cross banding possibly later, one section is missing on the right.
Drawer fronts with old wear and tear - scratches, dents and splits but appropriate for the age. Handles and escutcheons are original.
Sides are stained oak, both have vertical splits where timbers abutt.

Overall an honest piece that needs some restoration to the top and the overall polish.
