A George II walnut chest, of two short and three graduated long drawers, pine sides, on bracket feet, W.3ft D.1ft 8in. H.2ft 11in.

Top has been repolished at some time and retains a high sheen. Split running across the middle of top. Signs of old surface scratcings, scuffing ec, showing beneath the current varnish. Original handles and escutcheons fitted along with original locks but no key. Fronts of drawers all showing signs of ancient splits and minor surface damage. All 3 showing some degree of bowing. Left side with a prominent central verticle split. Right side better but with some build up of old white polish. Bracket feet probably later but with fair wear and tear.
