A George II silver pair cased keywind verge pocket watch by James Gibb of Stockton, (a.f.), with silvered Roman dial, inscribed Gibb and decorated with a shell, the signed movement unnumbered, inner case diameter 39mm and hallmarked for London, 1745, outer case unmarked.

Condition:
Part of the movement now lacking. Crown wheel and chain missing, hairspring severely damaged etc. Outer case with minor surface scratches. Inner case has a small dent to the side of the case and a blemish to the silver towards the centre of the case. Inner case glass does not close properly. Small hole to the dial between 1 & 2??. Watch not currently running so in need of attention. Outer case has no hallmarks.
