Condition:
We believe the decoration to be contemporary. Quite deep cluster of scratches to the top of the piece close to the central column. Somewhere to the decoration around the border in places. Two of the feet may possibly have been repaired? There is an engraved inscription which is later, dated 1891. Hallmarks on base clear. There are several quite prominent dents to the extinguisher. Only visible mark is quite rubbed. Probable split and old repair to the hook on the extinguisher also. The extinguisher may possibly be associated not original.
