Overall a good rich dark mahogany colour and heavy Cuban mahogany timber, top is faded with a split running through the middle and a broken and replaced patch to each of the front corners, some small denting and knocks to the moulding of the top edge, handles, escutcheon and lock all look original but no key, some light surface scratching scattered across the front of the piece, three fine cracks running vertically into the right side, a very slight lifting of veneer at the back and some small patching to the top of the back right just above the leg, on the left side similarly one vertical fine crack, some slight undulation of the veneer but overall a good honest piece of furniture.
