with applied glass eyes, decorated in blue with heart and teardrop motifs on a yellow ground, Gallé Reinemer mark with the cross of Lorraine between G and R to his rear left foot,

Condition:
Typical white and biscuit patches to the tin glaze in manufacture. The right ear has a noticeable chip to the upper edge and its left ear has some glaze losses around the edge. There are also small glaze losses to the tip of the cats nose to it to the shoulder of its left front leg and to the side of its rear left foot. The rear left foot has also been broken off and re-glued with some splinter losses around the area, otherwise in reasonable condition. It is genuine Galle.
