Clock basket top formerly soldered, underside of basket stamped R Coiffier, Hippolytus Rossignol, Melun. Base with redundant screw-holes so formerly on a plinth; accompanying pair also meant to stand on plinths; cases generally poor to fair. French bell-striking moment without pendulum or key and not tested.
