A French 19th century 'Palais Royal' style gilt brass and white opaline glass eau de toilette stand, fitted with a square section bottle modelled as a water dispenser on four scrolled supports, with ornate stopper, oval inset plaque depicting the Arc de Triomphe and a 'tap' discharging into an oval mother of pearl bowl, all mounted on a shaped alabaster base (one bun foot to base deficient), H 26cm

There are several scuffs and scratches to the mother of pearl which also has several nicks and dings. The front foot on the base is missing and the bowl is held to the base by a metal wire. Metal feet not attached to base and are easily removed when lifted. Inner section of the stopper has minor chips to rim. There is wear, scratching and minor loss to the oval plaque and discolouration to the metal
