A Drocourt & Cie enamelled brass hour repeating carriage clock, the enamelled dial signed by Howell James & Co, movement no. 8934, 5.5in.

Polishing wear to case with almost all of the enamel missing from the handle and much of the enamel missing elsewhere on the case. Traces of gilding showing where enamel has flaked and from underneath and between the enamel. Top oval glass plate engraved with P A M monogram. Top plate not moving, escapement not working. Inner enamel dial, makers name rubbed but just notable. Clock does wind, repeat is working and just for hours. 1 fine scratch to the front glass near 2 o'clock.
