A Delft tulip vase or flower pyramid, possibly 18th century, the octagonal base raised on three recumbent lions and painted in blue with a continuous scene of figures in an interior, surmounted by three further tiers with four cylindrical apertures and painted with flowers and stiff leaf bands, blue AP mark possibly for Anthony Pennis, 46cm

Anthony Pennis is recorded as working at The Two Little Ships (De twee Scheepjes) between 1759 and 1770.

There are a few minor small glaze flakes to the edges of some of the cylinders, the tip to noses of the lions and the exposed edges of the superstructure, otherwise in good condition with no restoration, chips to the actual pottery body or cracks.
