A Copeland and Garrett porcelain figure of a King Charles Spaniel, c.1833-47, recumbent on a green and gilt rococo scrollwork base, green printed facory mark, L. 11.6cm

There appears to be high quality restoration to the dog and the front of the base which has very slightly discoloured to a pale tea brown colour in places, however the restorer has cleverily matched this up with the staining to the original bone china, it is difficult to say exactly where the damage is because they seem to have sprayed a lot of the area to match the glaze in, the areas where the paint feels softer are to the dogs front legs, his hind quarters, top of head, the front of the base and on the underside of the base to the left of the mark and also to the dogs tail.
