Estimate £40-60

Provenance - The Dennis G. Rice collection of English porcelain animals of the 19th century

The deer has restoration to both of its ears and the back and top of its head, which have slight sheen to them compared to the rest of the biscuit porcelain. There are a couple of small firing cracks to the hind leg of the deer and a little bit of grubbiness here and there. The figure of a begging spaniel has a loss to the end of his right front paw, which appears to have been ground off flat, otherwise in reasonable condition.
