A Chinese yellow ground bowl, Jiaqing six character seal mark and of the period (1796-1820), finely painted with lotus flowers, chimes, scrolling foliage, peaches and wan symbols, the interior painted in underglaze blue with a central foliate medallion surrounded by four ribbon tied lanterns, diameter 15cm

There appears to be some sprayed decoration on the interior of the bowl although a strong light does not show any hidden cracks, wear to the gilding on the rim, otherwise in a reasonable condition.
