Provenance - The owner and her family lived in Singapore in the late 1950s. The collection includes antique Chinese porcelain, jade and furniture her father bought from shops in Orchard Road, Singapore around 1955-59.
The miniature jardiniere has some tiny losses to some of the applied flowers on each side, the edge of the rim has some slight wear to the enamels in places and the interior of the jardiniere has some black speckling and slight discolouration in the firing, the wood stand has shrunk very slightly as it doesn't quite fit perfectly any more, otherwise in good condition with no restoration or cracks.
