A Chinese white jade belt hook, 18th / 19th century, mounted in the early 20th century as a paper knife, carved in openwork with a chi-dragon biting a sprig of lingzhi fungus, with dragon head terminal, 9cm., the later blade engraved with bamboo, total length 22.5cm.
