A Chinese silver and gem stone mount hand mirror with 17th/18th century jade plaque, the mount early 20th century, total length 27cm

A Chinese silver and gem stone mount hand mirror with 17th/18th century jade plaque, the mount early 20th century, the oval grey white jade plaque pierced and carved in relief with the endless knot, a parasol and a conch shell within scrolling tendrils, length 8cm, the silver filigree and enamel frame set with jadeite and quartz pebble stones, set on an ivory handle, total length 27cm
Estimate £300-500

The jade panel itself has some paler inclusions in the stone and the odd tiny nick and splinter chip to some of the edges of the scrolls, we cannot comment on the very edge of the plaque as it has been overmounted, the hardstone cabochons have come from something previously as a few of them have drilled holes to them, the enamel work looks largely intact however the ivory handle is a little wobbly and has been reglued in position, there is losses to the enamel on the butterfly spandrels of the handle.
