A Chinese ruby red glass ‘leaping carp’ snuff bottle, 1750-1850, each side carved in high relief with a leaping carp above waves looking toward the moon, 5.9cm high

Condition:
Provenance - the former owner collected jades and snuff bottles in the 1960s and early 1970s while living and working in Hong Kong. A number of bubble inclusions to the glass including one to the mouth which appears to have some slight filler to it, otherwise in good condition with no restoration chips or cracks detected.
