The markings on the jade seated figure of a cat indicate that it may well be a tiger and there is natural inclusions and veining to the stone with a sharp contrast between the black jade and the grey jade to the front, there is some very slight wear to the black inclusions on the back which is often slightly softer than the rest of the jade on these pieces.
