A Chinese pale celadon jade 'peach' brush washer, 17th/18th century carved in high relief and openwork with a branch shaped handle issuing leaves and small peaches, the stone of even tone viewed form above with some pale russet inclusions to the underside, 11.3cm at widest point, wood stand

There are natural inclusions and veining to the stone. There is possibly a stem missing between a peach and leaf on the underside which has been polished off some time ago, otherwise in good condition. The wood stand has a small section broken and re-stuck.
