A Chinese ivory figure of the goddess He Xiangu, early 20th century, playing a flute and riding a fenghuang (phoenix), 21.5cm including wood stand

There is a small shallow chip to the ivory which has been re-glued on the edge of the goddess's robes next to the tassel on the left, there are a few fine age cracks to the ivory otherwise in good condition, the height includes the stand and the carving is from one piece of ivory.
