A Chinese huanghuali and hongmu chaise longue, late 19th / early 20th century, the back with a roundel inset with a dreamstone marble panel, flanked by flower vases, the frieze carved and pierced with scrolls and conjoined cash on pierced vase shaped legs joined by stretchers, L.180cm

There is a mix of woods in this piece as seen by the colour variation to sections. The back is slightly wobbily. There is one screw lacking from the wood panel at the back of the marble roundel. The left hand vase support on the back has a replacement scroll section. There is a split to the scrolled end, otherwise in reasonable condition.
