A Chinese gilt bronze mounted saddle, the mounts cast and chased with dragons amid scrolling tendrils with iron mounted borders and woven textile seat and borders, total length 64cm

The fabric is generally grubby all over and the gilt bronze pierced work panels are dirty and tarnished in places, the iron mounted borders have some oxidisation and rust patches in places, the front part of the saddle appears to have pulled away slightly from the underframe and the cloth lining on the underside of the saddle is spotted and torn in places, otherwise in reasonable condition.
