A Chinese famille rose garden seat, mid 19th century, painted with a continuous scene of mandarin figures amid pavilions and gardens within bands of butterflies, fruit and flowers, the top with figures by a river, height 49cm, restored

A large section of one side of the garden seat has been broken out and restored where there is piercing for 'cash' and goes through one of the figures of a lady, her face has been poorly repainted otherwise the restoration is of reasonable quality, some wear to the top of the seats consistent with age.
