A Chinese export ivory card case, 19th century, finely carved in high relief with figures amid pavilions and trees, one side with a fisherman and figures on a boat, leaf and flower carved borders, 10.7cm

There are a few fine age cracks to the ivory and two tiny chips to the edge of the cover, one on each side at the point of which the base and cover meet, otherwise a little grubby, the inner sleeve is slightly bowed otherwise no restoration.
