A Chinese blue and white 'lion-dog' dish, Kangxi period, painted to the centre with a brocaded ball medallion issuing flowing ribbons surrounded by four lion-dogs within a petal moulded rim, the underside with a similar border of lion-dogs, ribbons and jewels, four character mark, Yu Tang Jiaqi (beautiful vessel of the jade hall), in a double square, 35.5cm

There is scratching and scuffing to the glaze on the well of the dish, other occasional minor scratches all over, some fritting / glaze losses to the edge visible from the front and back, otherwise good condition.
