A Chinese blue and white calligraphic jar and cover, and two similar smaller jarlets, 16th/17th century, Fujian, height 13cm, 6.8cm and 4.8cm

The large jar has etching to the glaze as it has come from a shipwreck and has a hairline crack around the luting line visible to the exterior. Some sea enscrustation around the foot. The second largest jar has a curved hairline crack to the base and typical glaze imperfections. The smallest jar is in reasonanle condition with minor glaze imperfections.
