A Chinese amethyst quartz 'lotus' brushwasher, 19th century, carved as a partially closed flower with tendrils and leaves, 6.3cm, together with a silver wire inlaid wood stand, slight losses to carving

There are a number of crystaline inclusions in the stone and some occasional tiny shallow splinter chips to the edges of some of the leaves, the wood stand is in good condition.
