Provenance: by family repute formerly in the Arthur Flynn collection, purchased from Bluett's before 1980.

There are natural inclusions and fissures in the amber, next to the main figures left shoulder is some foliage which has been broken and now lacking at the very top with the remnants of a metal pin and some old glue around the area, the group is probably broken around the very base and has been inset into a wood stand with some black filler around the area, otherwise in reasonable condition.
