Some slight water staining to the top of the first page of the album which is inscribed in pencil in German, the first picture of pheasants has a few occasional small holes, some light staining and a paper patch repair below a branch on the left hand side, second page of peacocks has paper reinforcement repairs to tears on the underside of the picture and some complete losses to the pith paper at the bottom and bottom right corner, third page of pheasants has some occasional small tears, two small patch repairs top right, reinforcement repair in the branches at top left, a tear top left corner, fourth page of birds amind flowering blossoming branches has paper reinforcement repairs to various tears, fifth page of birds amid flowers again has a few paper reinfocement to tears, the sixth page of parrots amid branches again has some paper reinforcement repairs to small tears, seventh page of boats has a large paper reinfocement repair to a loss on the left handside and a vertical and horizontal paper repair to a tear on the right hand corner, eighth page has some tears and holes to the paper in scattered areas all over. Brocade to the album cover is torn and worn on the spine.
