Lot 48 , A Chinese Sancai glazed pottery funerary group, Ming dynasty

A Chinese Sancai glazed pottery funerary group, Ming dynasty, comprising six figures of servants, tallest 21cm, a model of a drum and stand, all standing on a plinth base, 30cm x 24cm x 13.5cm
£200-300

Condition:
All of the figures, the model of a drum and the base are ecrusted with some earth, with some occasional iridescence to the glaze, typical firing cracks. No restoration observed but there are some losses to the white and black pigments. As the figures are encrusted with earth, we cannot guarantee whether there is damage hidden beneath.
