A Chinese Ryuku Islands lacquer and mother of pearl small Kang table, 17th/18th century, the top and sides decorated with figures amid pavilions and trees, the top including twisted wire which is a feature on earlier Ryuku lacquer, on four scrolled legs, length 60cm

There are some losses to the mother-of-pearl inlay all over and slight wear to the lacquer on the edges. There is some slight shrinkage to the join between the top and frieze which is visible on the underside, otherwise in reasonable condition.
