A Chinese Mughal style white jade bowl and cover, late 19th/early 20th century, the thinly carved translucent stone with pale green and russet inclusions, 11.3cm

The raised petal moulded finial on the cover and the petal moulded foot to the bowl both have a few small nibbles to some of the petals, otherwise in good condition with natural inclusions to the stone, the carver has expertly carved both pieces very thinly so that the translucency of the stone can be seen.
