A Chinese Longquan celadon barbed rim dish, 15th century, the centre moulded with a lotus flower and foliage within a fluted Comito and barbed rim, the underside with fluting and burnt orange ring to the base,
Provenance- collected by the vendor’s grandfather while working and travelling in South East Asia in the 1930s - 1960s. 26.5cm wide, wear to glaze

Condition:
Heavily potted, with wear and scratching to to the centre, cavetto and the barbed rim, on both sides, wear to base consistent with age and use, otherwise in good condition.
