A Chinese Jun ware purple-splashed bowl, Song-Ming dynasty, with a crackle to the glaze all over and some encrustation around the unglazed foot, possibly recovered from a shipwreck, Diam.17.5cm

The crackle of the bowl has some etching to the glaze where the bow may have come from a ship wrecks. It feels quite heavy in the hand with some encrustation to the foot and a small foot chip, otherwise in good condition with no restoration or cracks detected.
