A Chinese Henan dark brown glazed jar, Song-Yuan dynasty, with raised bosses and zoomorphic masks to the shoulder, unglazed base, H. 23cm

The jar has some heavy crazing to the glaze all over and may have possibly been etched by the action of the sea, there is also a couple of chips to the edge of the unglazed foot, otherwise in reasonable condition.
