A Chinese Export gilt-decorated black lacquer games box, c.1830, decorated with figures amid pavilions and trees, the cover with a border of dragons, the interior fitted with an arrangement of lidded boxes and trays, on four lion paw feet, 37.5cm wide

Condition:
There is some light wear to the gilded decoration on the cover particularly to the border, some evidence of some age cracks to the lacquer on the interior of the cover. All of the trays and boxes to the interior appear to be present, a few age cracks to the corners of the base, original feet, otherwise in good condition.
