Condition:
Jug inside edge of pouring lip with shallow chip, approx. 15 x 8mm, not visible at exterior; crack downward from neckrim, approx. 9cm, clearly visible; lower handle-joint has been badly disturbed by an impact with a crack running around the joint full-circle but the upper handle-joint is without damage; characteristic incised script signature and date, 1881. 25cm high. Dish considerably crazed; bearing ‘date’ 1758 but early 20th century.
