A 9ct gold sovereign case, with engraved monogram, 30mm, gross weight 15.6 grams, containing a George V 1911 gold sovereign,

Condition:
There are several small dings to the front of the case within the engraved monogram which is more visible on the interior of the lid. The engraved monogram is a little tired in places. There are two small dents to the side of the top of the case. There are also some small dents to the other side of the case which also has an engraved monogram, which again is quite tired in places. The button mechanism works. There appears to have been an old repair to one of the sides of the hinge. Minor surface scratches in places. The whole mark on the engine turned sprung section is a little rubbed. No hallmark to the lid of the case. There appears to be a yellow metal plate? which is on the inside of the lid. Possible repair?.
