the lid decorated with a basket of flowers the underside with father and son hunting, internally with six compartments one decorated with a frigate at sea

Condition:
Some losses of the original border running around the edges of the lid and probably a few small hidden losses in the decoration, underside of the lid has significant loss to the background of the central scene and the floral border. Interior in better clean condition, sides fair but with some losses around the left side. Lead sits rather loosely on the top as it slightly curls up at the left and right sides.
