A 19th century brass and pietra dura rectangular scent casket, the interior containing three glass bottles with chased with gilt metal mounts and covers inset with insects, length 19cm

Fading to panels on all panels is evident as well as several light surface scratches, silk to the underside is freying, green verdigris is visible to the metal mounts, one of the scent bottles has a large chip to the base corner and a couple of other nicks, the other two scent bottles have some minor nicks to edges also, all three have some scratching to the glass and show signs of usage.
