A 19th century Jaques Patent portable 'B.C.D.' backgammon, chess and draughts board set, the gilt tooled red morocco cylinder holder enclosing a cloth and leather roll-up board, inner tube with thirty two ebony and boxwood reversible counters, one side applied with composition chess pieces, together with two bone dice

NOTE: The B.C.D. board was first patented by Jacques on 10th June, 1858

Condition: The joint of the playing surface later reinforced by a linen strip on the backgammon side, red queen composition emblem with loss, overall case lacking ends, dice shakers lacking bases
