A 19th century Japanese turned mulberry wood bowl, silver-mounted and with sumiyoshi lacquer design of magnolia and katsuo, the silver rim dated London 1882 and marked for Hukin & Heath, raised on three tapered triangular supports (possibly after a design by Christopher Dresser), damage to edge of bowl, Dia 23.75cm
