A 19th century Italian micro-mosaic and tortoiseshell snuff box, the lid decorated with the view of the falls at Tivoli, diameter 3in.

Some fine cracking running through the micro-mosaic although all is stable and no sign of any losses, thin gilt rim a little oxidised, and starting to lift away from the edge of the lid, base rather faded notably around the sides but looks to be complete, a few tiny pins have been inset running around the inside of the rim, please see photographs for further details, overall good condition.
