A 19th century Indian silver filigree casket, of rectangular form, on pierced scroll feet, plaque on base "M.L. Bros. C.T.C.", 15cm.

Visible large dents to 3 of the 4 corners of the lid, 2 appear to have been repaired also. Possible old small repair to front edge of the lid. All 4 feet are a little misshapen and one foot is damaged/split. Therer appears to be slight damage to the tips on 3 of the curved motifs on the angles of the body. Two of the lower corners have dents. There is minor damage in places to the ringed fringe on the lid and the base. Also there are numerous small drops now missing from the top and the base. Overall condition is average to poor. Provenence- Private collector. Weight 625 grams.
