Labelled Louis Lowendall, Berlin 1897; entitled Lowendall’s Concert Violin at the reverse side of the scroll. General wear; underside with a loss of varnish, area approx. 8x3cm. Bows fair, neither signed. Back 35.5cm, 14 inch. Rosewood case top with splits, the sides with lifting veneers.
