A 19th century French yellow metal (18ct poincon mark), cabochon sapphire, rose and old cut diamond and blue enamel set oval dress ring,
size O, gross 6.9 grams.

Condition:
There is some damage to the blue enamel. There are several small chips to the surface of the cabochon sapphire and 2 small cracks. Shank appears to have been re-sized. 2 of the diamonds within the border of the sapphire each have a small chip to the table facet edge and two of the rose cuts have a tiny chip also. Part of the scroll work now missing from one of the shoulders. In our opinion it is in it's original form.
