Estimate £250-350

Overall of a good rich mid to dark gingery toned walnut colour, the top has a number of old dents and scratches, one particular area with a flurry of thin scrape marks just left of centre, the front all of a slightly darker tone, ormolu mounts all look original and untouched, left hand door has some cracking running vertically up near the top left corner and some small losses of crossbanding around the glass, door also scrapes at the bottom when opened, central door has some smaller little pieces of crossbanding missing and one or two fine cracks within the veneer, again slight scuffing at the bottom where the door opens, interior has been slightly adapted with crude hardboard separations that shouldn't be too difficult to remove, the interior overall still retains the original purple velvet which now has patches of white mould, right hand door equally with some cracking in the veneers near the top right corner and one line of cracking at 12 o'clock, one key operates all three locks, plinth foot has some scuffing and rubbing at the corners, sides look good if a little faded, both extreme left and right top corners have small sections missing from the moulding, overall this piece is in honest condition not having been touched for many many years and would benefit from some light restoration.
