Overall in bright shiny condition, boullework to the top has been varnished but there are still numerous places where the brassware slightly sticks up, a lot of the red boulle is now missing, similarly so to the panels to the front and sides, ebony work looks to have been re-done at some point, ormolu mounts now with a dull finish but all complete.
