Condition:
Ormolu with an attractive aged matted finish and a little scattered surface dirt and oxidisation throughout. Very tip of the laurel wreath damaged, Vincenti movement is associated (or adapted) and now projects out the back of the case, strikes upon a bell. Pendulum overhangs the green marble section and is clearly not original. The green marble section has been re-assembled so that the applied cornucopia motifs are now at the back rather than the front of the case. This could probably be reversed however the gap between the ormolu and the top of the marble differs approximately 1 cm of the front and half a centimetre at the back. Now standing upon a circular hardwood plinth with a circular glass dome that stands 59 cm tall.
