A 19th century French cut steel, pique and satinwood sarcophagus shaped necessaire, the hinged lid with internal mirror and lift-out tray, fitted with mother of pearl needle case, scissors, scent bottle and other implements, 7.25in.

Reasonable condition, minor scuffs and marks and a smal shallow bruise to right hand side. The mother of pearl thimble is cracked , re glued and a tiny piece missing. Interior mirror has areas of spotting and deterioration. needle case- reasonable condition although when lid is removed you can see a chip on edge of the upright collar. Overall reasonable condition.
